EVENT: Marriage at the Supreme Court panel by Swish Nights Out

This week, Freedom to Marry's Director of Online Programs, Michael Crawford, will participate in a panel about the so-called Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8. Rulings in both Supreme Court cases are expected this month. The panel, organized by Swish Nights Out and Marriage Equality USA, takes place Thursday, June 13 from 7-9pm at St. John's Lutheran Church (81 Christopher Street, New York, NY).
The panel discussion will be moderated by Brian Silva of Marriage Equality USA and hosted by Jamie Lloyd of Swish. Michael Crawford will be joined on the panel with Mariko Hirose, Staff Attorney at the New York Civil Liberties Union; Pete Prete, founder of Equality Beyond Gender; and David Turley, senior regional field organizor at the Human Rights Campaign.
