In 2002, Diana pursued her Masters in Sociology at American University in Washington, DC.  During this time, she interned at the Human Rights Campaign and after graduation was hired on full-time as the Board Coordinator.  In this position, she coordinated and organized annual board meetings, ranging in 50 to 500 attendees. After working for corporate America, Diana decided to return to the nonprofit world so that she could use her knowledge and skills to continue working towards equal rights for the LGBT community.

In 2010, she joined Freedom to Marry as the Office Manager until she and her wife moved to Helsinki in October 2012. While at Freedom to Marry, she assisted the organization with its rapid growth, from 6 staff members to over 30 staff members by the time she left. Diana also assisted with setting up the organization's main office in New York City. Diana truly enjoyed her time at Freedom to Marry and couldn't be happier to have been a part of such an important campaign.

Diana is back in the corporate world though always on the look out for a chance to rejoin the nonprofit world where she can work towards making a difference. Diana and her wife are loving the Nordic lifestyle and taking advantage of the opportunity to travel all around Europe.
