Kirsten Lance

Kirsten Lance worked for Freedom to Marry in Washington D.C. as the Federal Program Associate helping to oversee Mayors for the Freedom to Marry, Young Conservatives for the Freedom to Marry, and the Respect for Marriage Coalition.

Prior to joining Freedom to Marry, Kirsten got her masters degree at City University London and wrote her thesis on the 2012 Maryland campaign to win the freedom to marry. She previously worked at the United States Department of Energy as a Scheduler for the Secretary of Energy. She went to college at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA and grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. 

Kirsten currently lives in Washington D.C. and works as a Press Assistant in the Office of the Vice President.
