Regina Clemente served as Freedom to Marry's National Field Director from 2010-2012. She is now the Director of Campaigns at Brave New Films running campaigns on racial justice, economic justice, gun violence, and issues of war and peace. A native Angeleno, she has been working as a professional activist for over 15 years doing movement building, community organizing, fundraising, lobbying, messaging research, and managing legislative and electoral campaigns. She has led political, policy, and organizing teams at organizations like Planned Parenthood, the LA Gay & Lesbian Center, and ACORN. She has also played numerous leadership roles in campaigns, ranging from presidential campaigns to city council campaigns to statewide ballot initiatives. She lives in LA with her cat/soulmate, Luna, and has lots of beautiful plants. She will never forget her times with Cameron Tolle at the Holiday Inn Expresses they frequented during so many marriage campaigns.
